Psy'Aviah go "Urban Sharing" and gather opinions by Jade4u, Bert Gabriels and others...
Experimentation is key to Psy'Aviah, both in music, videos and now also in real life! They started a project called "Urban Sharing", the idea is simple: wake up people from their daily routine and thank those who take the risk to open the parcels.
So how did they do that then? The belgian electro act has spread tens of parcels allover the Belgian city of Antwerp (over 500.000 inhabitants) which have a very cryptic message on them and which include a CD plus a thank you note.
Below is a teaser-video showing Nikkie Van Lierop (Lords of Acid, Praga Khan), Bert Gabriëls and other (in)famous Antwerp inhabitants talking about their views on the project:
The project already gathered attention from several blogs & news site around the globe, such as "The Urban Times" and "The Polis Blog". Whilst doing this project Psy'Aviah is rehearsing for upcoming gigs, writing new music and ofcourse stay creative!
Furthermore the band recently released the DJ EP "Ok/Virtual Gods" on iTunes and Beatport with tracks taken from their 4th studio album "Introspection / Extrospection" remixed by M.I.K.E. (PUSH, PLASTIC BOY), JAN VERVLOET (FIOCCO, SCOOP), MASAMUNE, NUDE, RADICAL G, METROLAND, GHOST & WRITER etc.
