Schwarzblut have revealed the title of their upcoming album. ‘Maschinenwesen’ will be the follow-up to their 2010 album ‘Das Mausoleum’. The new album is to be released mid 2012 and will incorporate the band’s signature style of historical German poetry and dark danceable electronics. ‘Maschinenwesen’ evolves around the art and poetry of the era of industrial revolution, about the significance of the early relation between man and his primitive machines. For the artwork the band has teamed up with artist/designer Rosanna Hoogendoorn, who’s Post Nuclear Steampunk fashion show can be seen at this year’s edition of the Summer Darkness festival in Utrecht (NL).
During the Summer Darkness pre-party on Saturday July 23rd, Schwarzblut’s very own DJ Sturm will incorporate some brand new Schwarzblut songs into his DJ-set. He’ll bring you ‘Schlußpoetik’ and ‘Der Schwarze Tod’, straight from the studio out onto the dance floor! Come visit the Summer Darkness pre-party at the Attitude Holland pop-up store in Tivoli/Utrecht on Saturday July 23rd for these exclusive previews of Schwarzblut’s upcoming album.
