Alfa Matrix celebrates 5 years with 2CD compilation
Alfa Matrix is celebrating its 5th anniversary this Summer with a special 2CD compilation: "Alfa Matrix - Re:connected [2.0]". 30 label bands agreed to offer previously unreleased songs or rare mixes/versions. For instance , Unter Null is revealing the first new track "Prophecy" which was recorded after her current album announcing a new EP. Ayria from her side offered "The gun song", produced together with Len Lemeire. Also appearing with a new song are Sero.Overdose, Seize, Inure, PNE, Diskonnekted, Dunkelwerk, Headscan, Implant, Monolith, Neikka RPM, Glis, Agonised By Love, Tamtrum, Aiboforcen, OVNI, Mentallo & The Fixer, Nebula-H (featuring Pangea, a project by IC434 frontman Geert de Wilde). A special "Happy birthday" song was delivered by Claus Larsen while a bunch of new artists recently signed by the label also offered material such as I:scintilla, Technoir, Zombie Girl, Stary (a new project of Erica Dunham from Unter Null) and Mind:State. Front 242 from its side offer a live recording and finally the Belgian act Skanda present their first ever official release on the compilation, Skanda being nothing but the new project of good old Belgian legendary band a;GRUMH...'s singer J3 with Aiboforcen's mastermind Benoit Blanchart.
