Over the past few months several artists have joined the Alfa Matrix ship, find more info at their artistpages in our artist section above:
MIND:STATE
MIND:STATE from Sweden has now teamed up with Belgian producer Len Lemeire (ANNE CLARK, IMPLANT, UNTER NULL, etc.) and is currently in the studio meticulously recording his debut album due to be released in the spring of 2006. Fans of soulful melodic electronics will not resist to the shimmering darkness of MIND:STATE’s songs. For the sake of comparisons, they are akin to ASSEMBLAGE 23, VNV NATION, ANGELS & AGONY, etc.
KLUTÆ
KLUTE becomes KLUTÆ! After the comeback of LEÆTHER STRIP, 2006 will mark the return of Claus Larsen’s side-project KLUTÆ, through which the Danish master of electro/industrial expresses his most extravagant torments and fantasies. A punkish “in ya face attitude” with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and “angst-til-ya-bust” old-school elektro arrangements. It’s dense aggro-electro from the tortured soul of Claus Larsen’s loud and fun bastard alter ego.
INURE
INURE will soon return with their 2nd album “Subversive” produced by Ted Phelps (IMPERATIVE REACTION). Layered with heavy beats, driving basslines, and thick atmospheres, The American trio of INURE have managed to capture the depth and feel of classic EBM/industrial, with forward-thinking production and sound design. Their new material has been kicked up a notch, while still maintaining their trademark sound: dark, malevolent, heavy and layered, with even more straight-forward imaginative synthwork and punchy beats.
TAMTRUM
TAMTRUM’s «sex, drugs’n industrial» attitude, their harsh elektro sequences, distorted screams and locomotive drum patterns nailed us to the wall with so much power and conviction that we could not resist welcoming them to the Alfa Matrix family. Described as one of the most decadent and forceful live band on the scene, the French trio of TAMTRUM often gets compared music-wise to a band like HOCICO with a rather MANSONesque attitude… Their music and lyrics (in French & English) are morbid, disturbing, nasty, sick, noisy and per definition hyper-danceable. Their new album is scheduled for the spring of 2006.
