The Norwegian EBM hit machine Kant Kino (orders are taken here) strikes back with its second album "Father worked in industry" which was mixed and mastered by Leaether Strip's Claus Larsen.
The band is still faithful to the soul of its debut album (hence also the track "We Are Still Kant Kino" you'd say) but the duo also matured a lot its sound and songwriting. This approach resulted in addition of clear and vocoder vocals as well as some guest female vocalists, plus the injection of wider influences from techno/electro to even pop/rock in the song structures.
There are more ingredients that will please the public as they also reprised the classic "Warm Leaetherette" with Claus Larsen on vocals. If you saw Kant Kino live in Norway a year ago during the Xelebration Festival 2011 you already have heard the live version with Larsen on vocals.
The album itself is available in 2 physical formats: a normal CD and a deluxe carton box edition (which you can order here) with the exclusive 16-track bonus album "Now The Work Has Moved On". On that bonus album you'll remixes and remakes going from metal from Anders Odden (Satyricon, Apoptygma Berzerk, etc) and hard electronics from Gothminister, to hard hitting TBM by Elec This!, high-tech electro by Aesthetische or yet Dubstep from Essence of Mind. Also featured: a couple of reworks by Kant Kino themselves as well as new interpretations of Kant Kino songs with vocals from Leaether Strip and Sudeten Creshe.
Dunkelwerk's Losttrooper returns on the battlefield for the new "Operation: Duesterland" album, Dunkelwerk's 3rd conceptual full-length album celebrating once more the complex theme of 'Total Defeat' and making of this collection of songs one of the strongest anti-war albums this scene ever offered. If many bands have used war elements in their work, not many deal with this difficult theme wholeheartedly like Dunkelwerk can do it.
Note that the album also features rare original German war broadcast recordings next to propaganda samples and lyrics.
The album is available as a 11-track CD but also comes as a 3CD set (only available via the Alfa Matrix webstore). The limited deluxe carton box edition holds an exclusive bonus disc gathering some 10 unreleased old tracks from Dunkelwerk's archives between 1999 and 2004 plus the exclusive "Completorium vol.1" bonus disc.

Italian act Helalyn Flowers are currently finishing their new studio album, but they found time to join a special charity action as well. The band and Alfa Matrix gave our ok to be featured in Groupees.com's holiday game/music/charity campaign "The Greenlight Bundle" for which the band provided some of their most popular songs.
The bundle is a 2 week sale featuring some great video games along with several albums and collections, where participants pay what they want (with a minimum fee) with a % donated to charity. So far the site almost sold a whopping 7000 bundles.
Quick on the heels of their recently released acoustic EP "Marrow 1", electronic-rock quartet I:SCINTILLA switch gears completely with their brand new digital single "Skin Tight."
The track is a down-and-dirty electro stomper that will definitely find its way into clubs and DJ play lists. The band abandons all guitars while vocalist Brittany Bindrim's seductive lyrics shine over a bed of pulsing bass and synthesizers. For some extra flavor, the single is accompanied by excellent remixes from THE LUNA SEQUENCE and PSY'AVIAH...
For the audiophiles, don't forget that our Bandcamp page offers this release as an immediate download in your choice of MP3 320, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.
ATTENTION:Due to a conversion problem, only the Bandcamp version has the correct artwork (yes, via iTunes and co you'll get a 'limited wrong edition' of the cover before we have it replaced)
