According to Schwarzblut: 'In life, a journey is just as important as its destination'. That's why through a series of 6 video's, the band will give you an insight into the creation of their 3rd album. This first episode focusses on the selection and use of historical poetry. Schwarzblut's upcoming album is expected Spring 2014 on Alfa Matrix. Stay connected to Schwarzblut on Facebook or Twitter.
We have launched the pre-sales for the brand new compilation series entirely and exclusively devoted to bands with female lead vocalists: "Absolute Grrrls Manifesto [chapter 1]". "Absolute Grrrls Manifesto [chapter 1]" is a deluxe 4CD compilation (see artwork above) and is bound to become a must-have, just like the "Endzeit Bunkertracks" series has become the leading one in its genre.
You can now visit a dedicated page for the compilation project: www.alfa-matrix.com/manifesto1/ . On the website you cannot only see the complete list of the 111 bands featured on this release but also read a manifesto which Seba Dolimont, A&R at Alfa Matrix, wrote together with various front women of bands that joined the project.
The compilation mixes electro, EBM, gothic rock, synth pop, new wave, metal, industrial, techno... and is a good guide to know what female fronted bands are out there.

A while back we reported about a remix contest for I:scintilla's "Skin tight". After carefully listening to 64 submissions from musicians that covered 15 countries, 7 finalists have been chosen which you can listen to on this Bandcamp page.
Rather than resort to a standard web-based voting mechanism, the band decided that you can vote for your favorite remixes with small charitable donations. The track that generates the most money will be the winner. ALL income from this contest will be donated to Amnesty International. Quite an interesting approach you might say.
The band will be completely transparent with income statistics and provide period screenshot updates regarding the tracks' incomes. The voting ends on February 26, so purchase your favorite tracks now.
