Dunkelwerk pursues two campaigns: devastating bombardment of the club dancefloors, and to open the doors of a desolate world for shell-shocked listeners to explore. Based in the land of harsh electronix this German one-man army deals with the moment of total defeat. No place for glory, no victory just the sweet smell of discomfiture. By using themes and images of war this remarkable project offers an atmosphere of desertion, loss and defeat. The sundown of the heart, the end of hope.
