[ ] Here comes good news from the AIBOFORCEN camp!
Many fans have been requesting again and again copies of the "Dysfunctional subconscious" album by their side-project INTERNAL that was released on Zoth Ommog. Well, they managed to get back the remaining copies of this collector item that will now be exclusively sold through the alfa matrix website. INTERNAL is the fruit of the collaboration between multi-talented sound guru John N. Sellekaers (XINGU HILL, AMMO, DEAD HOLLYWOOD STARS, etc.) and Seba Dolimont (AIBOFORCEN) with special guest vocals by Len Lemeire (IMPLANT) and Australian female singer Cara Lithgo. INTERNAL was described as a mix between LASSIGUE BENDTHAUS, HAUJOBB and bitchy angry vox. In related news, AIBOFORCEN confirm us that most of the songs for their 4th record entitled "Kafarnaüm" are written. They are now entering the final recording and production phase for the album they hope to release after Summer this year. cara lithgo, voice of INTERNAL also contributed to this new album dedicated to mental & physical chaos. Expect a disturbing sonic experience for what the band calls their darkest and most complex effort ever.

Alfa Matrix artists on Zillo Club hits' compilation vol.7
Not one, not two, but three (!!) Alfa Matrix artists have been selected by the German magazine Zillo to appear on the new 7th edition of their legendary "Zillo club hits" compilation. Selected bands are HUNGRY LUCY with their new "Fearful" hit, AÏBOFORCEN and their unavoidable "Twilight World" and our smashing Canadian newcomers EPSILON MINUS who already started breaking the dancefloors with their "Freedom", bound to become a club classic in no time. Other featured artists include apoptygma berzerk, hocico, mesh, das ich, diary of dreams, suicide commando, etc.

 At the end of May, for the Leipzig festival, German label Triton is releasing the 6th edition of the legendary "Elektrauma" compilation. The new edition features tracks by PNE, EPSILON MINUS, HUNGRY LUCY, AÏBOFORCEN, MNEMONIC and REGENERATOR.

AÏBOFORCEN whose "Sons Palliatifs" album has been doing so well that a second pressing was delivered again this week, have also been working on a single tentatively titled "Testing new waters". It will feature 2 new tracks, one of them in a remix form and most probably a vocal and remixed version (with special guest vocal appearance by Dominique from the New-York based duo NEIKKA RPM!!) of an instrumental track off the current album. The new material is also receiving the remix treatment by some of the most promising electronic acts from the new generation. More details as we get them! Meanwhile, Benoît has also completed a remix for their American friends of NEGATIVE FORMAT for their next release! Watch out.

[ ] AÏBOFORCEN's frontman, Séba Dolimont just sent us this message: "...to all our fans who pre-ordered the double-CD limited edition of our new album, we want to inform you that although the release date of our album was yesterday 9th November, we are right now still missing one part of our limited edition! There's in fact a special item due to be inserted in the DVD boxes coming from a palliative cares hospital. With the exceptionally strict controls organised by the post offices around the world since the anthrax wave of panic, our package happens to have been listed as "suspect" because of a special white substance contained in these "surprise objects". We have now provided the authorities with all documents that should allow us to free this package. We hope to receive it any day next week. Be sure that all packages for pre-orders are here ready to be shipped the same day as this last thing shall be delivered. We feel very unmighty in our current position and keep our fingers crossed that the authorities shall keep their promises and let the package be delivered. We count on your understanding and guarantee you it's worth the wait. Alfa Matrix will of course inform you as soon as your pre-order is posted.

[ ] As announced the 3rd album by AÏBOFORCEN, "Sons Palliatifs", will be out on 9th November 2001. A dark, melodic and dance floor album you will soon be hearing and reading about everywhere... Responses & pre-orders so far have been awesome and every true future-EBM freak will soon owe this 14-track CD in his/her collection. The double CD limited edition will be available in a DVD box with some cool visual and musical surprises...

[ ] Back to Belgium, AÏBOFORCENare putting the last touch to their 3rd album this week-end. They still have to record one song entitled "Freezing dream" featuring once again Patrice Synthea (REGENERATOR) as guest vocalist (remember the successful remixed version of "Ghost Of My Life" with Patrice on lead vocals featured on the previous "Face (of) Death"!).

[ ] Trisol Music Group will release on September 7th 2001 an anniversary 3CD compilation entitled “Love & Death”. Alfa Matrix, the homelabel of AÏBOFORCEN, has been invited to feature 3 of their artists onto this great compilation for which the German label plans a very extensive promotion campaign. Included are  AÏBOFORCEN - Twilight World, HUNGRY LUCY – Alfred & MNEMONIC - Human Fragments. 46 artists in total are featured on this label group compilation including amongst others GARDEN OF DELIGHT, ENDRAUM, L'ÂME IMMORTELLE, FLESH FIELD, INDIVIDUAL TOTEM, GENERATED X-ED, GOD MODULE, THE DUST OF BASEMENT, CENOBITA, DIE FORM, PERFIDIOUS WORDS, LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT, YENDRI, MOTHER DESTRUCTION, HEXEDENE, ATTRITION, etc.

It’s been almost 4 years since the band did put out a new release… but you’ll soon notice it was worth the wait! [ ] The belgian band AÏBOFORCEN is back with full force. The band has just recently signed a recorddeal with Alfa Matrix, a new upcoming Belgian label. Soon to be released on this fine label is the band's 3rd album, entitled "Sons Palliatifs". Together with the normal album release, a box will see the daylight in a limited edition!
